The definition of rare can mean unusual, uncommon and unfamiliar. But for those living with a rare disease, it is anything but this.
We need to look at it in a different way.

In support of Rare Disease Day, we wanted to share some insights from across the community about what it means to live and work with rare diseases. We believe it’s critical that these voices are heard to raise awareness of this incredible community. We started our conversations with ‘what one thing…?’ and the answers provided us with a story of challenge, hope for the future and community.
